"Nobody's free until everybody's free." - Fannie Lou Hamer
Greetings Spiritual & Social Justice Warriors!
My name is Lailah. I am an educator who integrates social science and spirituality to affect transformational change. With a specific emphasis on the intersectional oppressions of racism, sexism and classism, I teach, speak and write about the healing and liberation of humanity.
Through courses, consulting and coaching, I inspire individuals, groups and leaders to develop their cultural literacy, cultivate anti-racist/anti-oppressive environments, incorporate healing principles and practices, and foster holistic solutions to outdated paradigms that no longer serve them.
I do this work because I believe that it is possible to create a liberated world centered in love, equity and justice. It all begins with us! Please join me.
Peace, Love & Power,
Lailah
My signature series, "Self-Love is a Spiritual Practice," "Recognizing the Transformative Power of Love," and "Sage Girls Lead," may be customized for your organizational requirements.
I design courses for educators, clergy and other leaders in the areas of cultural awareness and racial literacy; culturally responsive pedagogy; self-love and self-awareness; and spiritual principles and practices.
I provide individual and group spiritual life coaching that incorporates spiritual principles and practices including affirmations, journaling, meditation, prayer, visioning, and visualization.
I am available to speak on a variety of topics that include, but are not limited to:

This presentation was the real deal. It gave a foundation and context for how participants were to approach the remaining information in the session. That foundation was love. We explored types of love and settled into that space before we were given a meaningful, informational history of racism in America. What made this presentation unique was the opportunity to interact and discuss what we had experienced from a very personal social and spiritual place and to see our personal work in moving the world forward. Lailah is an excellent teacher who designs deeply meaningful workshops, courses and lectures that inspire people to reflect, then act.
Thank you for the experience!

For the first time in years, I attended a workshop that was a work of art. Lailah, an uncommon workshop leader, artfully blended a history of racism from the perspective of a sociologist, spiritual guide and story teller. Her refreshing approach to America’s “original sin” also included a sensitive examination of how the trauma of racism- rooted in slavery - impacts the African American community and America as a whole. Not satisfied with simply giving a diagnosis of the problem, Lailah also offered a powerfully insightful prescription that can go far in contributing to a creative solution to healing America’s racial dis-ease.

Lailah's commitment to Truth is undeniable. Her LOVE for the human Spirit stems from her self-less-ness. All that she is precedes her work of teaching, facilitating, coaching and causing change to happen from the inside out!

I was pleased, proud and impressed with the level of detail and quality of the session that I attended. Lailah's work demonstrates research and knowledge laced with the ability to listen and provide relevant feedback as participants pose questions and express their views and experience.
